The undergoing

Forms should go to the simple
at the lastlight; after the undergoing
the modes of person are undone,
and pasts as though they had no form.

-

It lacks nothing, the sun that rifts
the high-drawn skein of cloud;
high winds become unbodied sense
accommodating every tense.

-

Days do not pass, but change;
a metamorphosis unstrange.
